PARKING FOR THE PILGRIMAGE TO OUR LADY'S WELL, STOW


SATURDAY 11TH AUGUST 2007

Parking for Clergy and Servers who will process from the access track opposite the North Lodge has been arranged on the drive to Torsonce House just past the North Lodge

Members of the public should park in Stow village and use the footpath which was laid alongside the A7 in 2000 to provide easy access for visitors (see notes below).

St. Mary's Well is approximately half a mile south of Stow village.


Clergy and Servers

As the A7 is a busy road it is requested that cars enter Torsonce by the drive entrance at the North Lodge and leave by the South Lodge. Care must be exercised in leaving and in crossing the A7 as the road must be crossed on a bend.


Visitors

Please park in the village and use the footpath from there - suitable footwear is suggested if there has been wet weather in the preceding few days.


Please Note

If wet the venue will be changed to Our Lady of Wedale Parish Church and parking will be available either at the Church or in Stow Village itself.
